what's good y'all day 14 of the hundred days of code series thank you all for joining in what about Tuesday well this morning I've just been uploading some videos to YouTube and now I'm going to be studying deep learning all day I'm at a friend's place using these internet because it's a bit faster than mine but I'm all about Udacity today so some new new classes just got released I've got this video by Suraj how to succeed in any programming interview I'm going to start my day of studying off what you miss I'll take down some notes and I'll hit you up with them so you can learn too and then later on I'll show you what my assignments are for the for the next the next phase in this program see you soon what's really cool about Suraj is that he can fit a whole bunch of information into a short video that's something I want to aspire to so here's video on having to see me program interview I've got a whole page of notes and it was only about a five five minute interview but I'll pull out my top three things so having 16 any programming interview of course study so I don't know if I'll ever go for programming - maybe I will but who knows but incorrectly incredibly important study like any any job interview just study make sure you know your stuff if it's on your resume make sure you know what you're talking about number two for me would be to build your portfolio so if I'm an interviewer I don't really care about what you can do I care about what you've done so have you worked on any projects have you contributed to any projects are you currently involved in a project something like that because everything else is just theoretical unless you can sort of show me some evidence of what you've actually done that's what I'm most interested in and what's the last one so number four close number three so it would be reach out don't be afraid to ask if you see a job you like of course apply for it on the website but then do some research find the actual recruiter that's doing for that by searching LinkedIn searching Google using a bunch of keyword searches finding that person email them reach out say hey I've seen your position here what what can I do that's that's exactly what I did actually to get an interview at Airbnb over the phone for technical support not any programming but technical support I reached out to the recruiter on LinkedIn and she should called me up the next day so I didn't get the job but that's right wasn't meant to be oh and that's probably one before actually if you don't get it that's right take take it as a stepping stone to the next one but I'll link the the video that I just watched survivors video in the description and that way you can find out a lot more so yeah check it out it's awesome actually check out all this arises Channel it's amazing I'm going to get back to do any more deep learning study and I'll show you my projects later sup y'all sub insignia my friends company just doing some reading updating from YouTube video thumbnails and whatnot and checking over where I lock today's in terms of my deep learning course and other study areas I spent most his day at the library as you can see here today was all about deep learning so about three three and a bit hours on my Udacity course and it here's the project I was telling you about so what do we have to do generate my own TV script did I get that zoom right so I've got to take in 27 seasons worth of Simpsons episodes analyze their scripts using machine learning and then generate my own TV script of a scene in most heaven based off the 27 seasons that I've analyzed so good luck to me this is due in about 12 days so where does that put us maybe June 8th I think I think is about 12 days from now or maybe maybe less but I'm not sure and however been tracking all my stuff I'll show you here as well so I used Trello to track so these are the resources for my Udacity course we've got projects to do is what I'm currently doing I include some other courses in there because they're all related to deep learning there's such a big field and then here's what I keep track of what I've already done so if we go across April March why not I nearly really get better at this zoom but yeah really handy tools toggle and Trello really keeps me on top of all this stuff that I'm doing check out this dunce hat by the way I don't know how well my camera will pick that up look at that good a beautiful view construction site over here amazing something over there that's difficult learning today that's it for the vlog today but some friends coming over later we're all going to watch a movie called generation 9 - really excited for that and then probably working out because little hype is that so I'll catch you tomorrow I think it's day 15 what's good doll day 15 100 days of code I was finished meditating with headspace I'm doing the heads based pro little 3 pack I've got about 300 or so sessions now it's changed my life if you've never tried meditation highly suggested - but now it's time to have a cold shower check it out only cold we now have in cold showers lately really wakes you up incredibly incredible health benefits excluded video on the benefits of cold showers but [Music] get up buggers on the wet cold exposure is good somebody say every single time it's incredibly difficult [Music] hey no more alive that ultra cold shower try it big day in machine learning check this out I've been learning about neural networks and their representation I got five out of five on my quiz but I've still yet to do my programming assignment which is multi-class classification and neural networks so I'm going to do something in MATLAB to recognize a whole bunch of handwritten data sorry handwritten digits so got to work out how to write a neural network for that but I'll show you something else this is my time tracking app called toggle and so this is what I did last week or about last week I know if you can see this that machine learning course Aris about 22 hours or just under 22 hours of study most of it was machine learning camera is not working so yeah I'll just relax you 22 hours total study machine learning cause 10 hours - five hours tree house 1l or this is all going to add up I'm reading it out wrong Udacity deep learning course about ten hours as well so make mostly between Udacity and machine learning course you have to be deep learning and machine learning on Coursera through Stanford University and they both they both encompass Python anyway so your motors will save - is is across all of them but that is me done for coding today it is the 26 ma day 15 of 100 days of code challenge I'm going to go see my friendship this evening and because he's going for a serving race tomorrow so I might even record a little with that but I'll catch you tomorrow may 27th 2007 teen my boy is about to do an ocean swim KP on scuzz music garbs what do you got there we got cereal with yogurt berries Norman's happiest woman two kilometres and obviously Krystal condition check out this morning so you go to go brisk 12 degrees with the water temps about 21 so they're your markers alright oh you'll be going right out here into here then out back in finish line no no no I'll make sure I get out a video of you sounds good and I really I don't know if moving in frame is actually a sure where we are starting I start in the bay I saw around here and we go even further along the National Park and then we actually end up coming back along these time oh you come back well so start here out back and round come in here around the home and check back in when he's finished not an eruption kids off seven six five four three what latter team not me older than a clock little waving behind a here we go selfies nothing running work you get my round of applause here we have Chelsea do Becca a fair when these are 2017 and 1100 with that check it out just finished my third assignment of machine learning so this is the end of week three of the machine learning course I'm doing uncle Sarah absolutely loving it's pretty difficult at the moment but slowly learning it it's really exciting what's going on and you'll check it out 28th of May 2017 today's day 17 of the hundred days of code challenge I didn't do any code yesterday that was day 16 because I was just in the previous clips I was at the coast with one of my friends and he was doing swimming challenge awesome work so proud of you done if you're watching this congratulations you two amazing job so I was showing out with him and his girlfriend and his family and whatnot at the beach house happy to take a day off and get back into it this week I've got a few goals for this week so I'm going to get on top of my Udacity course which is I'm going to assignment you on June 6th so project 3 aka generate a new Simpsons episode after analyzing 27 seasons worth of text through sentiment analysis and RNN so recurrent neural networks and something also really cool next weekend they got accepted into an advanced starters boot camp so for June three and four so I'm going to try get this done before this and it's the 28th so I've got I don't know four five days five days to get it done we can do it you'll see it all anyway I'm all that you know wants to finish my my third Udacity assignment so what's the young starters boot camp so I don't really know but essentially I'm going along and hopefully some of my team are coming with me which is my little brother and one of my best and to a mentorship program so they can we can give them our startup idea and then they can blow it out of the water for us and tell us where we're going wrong apparently and see see what what we can do to improve so try to get some footage there but this is going to be the last clip of v-log 4 so I hope you're enjoying it I'll let you know more about the the projects they are working on next week in the next video which will upload and probably three or four days from now so stay tuned and if you want to see anything else like whatever you want workouts food cooking whatever other stuff let me know in the comments or hit me up on social media at mr. Dubourg anywhere but thank you so much for watching I'll catch you in the next video and I've got to go get back into some code peace
