A Winner’s Mindset - Success Tips for Entrepreneurs | Marketing 360

A few weeks ago my wife and I took our son to watch the Denver Broncos practice because he loves football and the Broncos. As I was sitting there watching I was analyzing the players and how they practiced and interacted with their teammates and coaches. What I noticed was the best players on the team acted different. They seemed to have more energy/enthusiasm, a faster pace. a flow state type of mentally and focus, good communication with coaches and teammates, etc. They were highly engaged and not taking any drills off. Even the most basic drills and tasks they took very seriously. They clearly were trying to get better with every single period of practice. They truly looked like they wanted to be there, have fun, and encourage and uplift others to get better. The interesting thing is, as I analyzed all the players on athleticism alone, I could not see much of a difference if any at all. In fact, many players actually looked bigger, stronger and faster than the best players. It was very clear, that what makes the difference between the best players and the rest is the mindset. And that very thing is true not just in football, but in all areas of life. The key to the best leaders in any business and the best performers in any company is not their raw talent, but their mindset. What are you doing to bring a winning mindset to work every day? Are you uplifting others around you, setting the pace, fully focused through the day? Are you committed to excellence? Are you working like your biggest fans are in the stands watching your every move? Think about that, and think about what areas you’re maybe falling short of excellence and could do better. Then focus on those things and really make an effort to up your game there. Excellence is hard, but nothing easy is worth being proud of.
