Let's get right into it. If you're using Claude and you have not tried MCP yet, this is for you. MCP means model context protocol and it's a way to enable claw to have access to different tools and platforms that dramatically increase its capabilities. My favorite MCP tool is playright because it allows you to go deep on website audit and analysis and extract a ton of useful information and I'm going to show you exactly how to do that in three steps. So here I've got Claude open and this works the same way on Mac and Windows. So, all you need to do is go to settings. These are different settings than if you were to click on your account name on the bottom left of the screen. Once you're in the settings window, click on developer and then click on edit config. And if you don't have one already, Claude will open up a folder and create a new config JSON file. Now, all you need to do is open this JSON file with any standard text editor, Notepad on Windows or Text Edit on Mac, and copy and paste the playwright code that's in the description. Note that it's different for Mac and Windows. Save the file. Quit out of the text editor and restart Claude. Once Claude is restarted and fully loaded, you'll notice that there's a new icon here indicating that tools are installed. You'll see that just with Playright, there's 24 new tools installed. All of these tools will come into play depending on the kinds of analysis that you'll be running on websites. So, let's see this in action. Now, I have a simple prompt here that's going to be using the MCP playright tool to run a website analysis on active campaign.com. So, let's see it in action. Now, anytime that Claude is going to start using an MCP tool, it's going to want permission for this chat. And you're going to have to allow for every session. Now you'll see that it's opening up a browser all on its own. And of those 24 tools, anytime that Claude wants to use one of those 24 tools within the Playright MCP, you'll have to allow it for each tool. And that's it.
