[Music] Hello YouTube. I'm Matt View Productions and welcome back to another Minecraft Pocket Edition video. As you can see, we are in a world today uh with fancy banners in it. So, as we know in the new 1.2 beta for Minecraft Pocket Edition, now Xbox and Windows 10, um they also have new betas because uh the Xbox is getting like Minecraft Pocket Edition as its official version. and it's being called Minecraft Bedrock Edition, I think. Anyways, um yeah, betas are are awesome. So, we got banners now. And uh this is basically a tutorial on how to do banners and how to make banners awesome and how to it's like a basic tutorial on banners that I'm just going to be kind of going through with you guys. I didn't make that tutorial like officially. Uh you can download it from MCPL. It was made by this guy, Rosario Gene09. And Minecraft banners tutorial basics. So, it's just the basics and uh like how to do banners. And personally, I don't know how to do um I'm going to learn with you guys, but we're going to go through it. So, this should be a pretty good uh video to watch if you want to learn how to make banners. First of all, let me teach you how to make a banner. You will understand this clearly in the next step. You can clear or undo the last step uh that you did in dying it. So, wait. This is how you make a banner. This is how you craft it in a crafting table. It is just six wool and a stick. That makes pretty much a lot of sense. So, here's a banner. Oh god, I didn't mean to grab that. Give me the banner. That's the banner. All right, let's throw this out. We don't need that. We don't need you dark oak fence. So yeah, book and quill. What is this? Book and quill. Those these are new in the thing. This is a recipe to make the thing. Oh, I see. So this just shows you like some advanced text and stuff like that. So you can uh just put that back if we don't need it. Anyways, yeah, that is how you craft the banner. We have one now. And it even flows a little bit. So that is a banner. Dyes can be replaced by other color of dyes. So these are the basic steps in dying banners. So basically in your crafting menu, you will put your banner right in the middle and then you'll have your dye over here and you will put that like in the corner and then it will appear in the corner like this. And if you put it down here, it'll be in the center and all that kind of stuff. So that's how you basically dye it in a nutshell, I'm pretty sure. Let's just go. They really like this new search option. So I'm going to just search dye. You know what? We'll start off with a little light blue dye over here. We're going to exit out and we're just going to try to dye the banner. Oh, and that makes a diamond. All right. I didn't even mean to do that. Let's just try it like he was trying it. Yeah, like that. So, now we've made a little square up in the corner. And there we go. And uh he's just showing you again that you can use the dyes in the corners like this to make different ones. There you go. So, if we walk all the way up here, we can see some more dying options. If we put the banner on the bottom uh kind of thing in your crafting table and put an ink in the middle, you will get a circle instead. So, even with our modified banner, what's really cool about banners is that we can just do that anyways. We can put a circle and a square. And I mean, this looks really bad. I mean, that's, you know, not the best looking banner in the world, but it's pretty much just customizable to like millions and millions of different things. And that's what makes them really cool. Of course, if you put a mob head in the middle with some dye, you still need the dye. So, you put the banner in there and the mob head and the thing, it will appear in the middle. So, anything you put basically in this middle slot with a banner down here, it will appear in the middle. And we can see it makes a creeper face if you put the creeper head in there. And you can change the color of the creeper face with this. So, put some dye in there. And now we have uh my custom banner. That's not great. There it is. I mean, you know, it's better than expected. So, you can also make a skull and crossbones flag just like a pirate flag with a wither skull head, which I think is really cool. And you can do the diamond uh like I found out earlier, like this. And you can do a big old X on it like that. You can do a mojang symbol, which I think is just really funny. You can do slashes. You can even do a brick pattern. You can do stripes as well. Basically, this is just showing you all the different ways you can use banners and everything. So, you can cover the top, you can cover half of it. So, basically, if you want to make your own special banner, this might be a good world to check out and start to learn stuff in. It is raining. So, we can actually start off with a bunch of different colored banners as well. So, I'm going to start off with this green banner. Hello. I'm just making a banner tutorial. So, yeah, tons of designs are possible. You get like the sun. This is pretty much what it looks like is the sun. Just lots of possibilities here. So, if you're really into, you know, crafting things, it's great for your friends and you. So, we can see some final designs over here that the map creator left. Some cool banners. Do we get Oh, yeah. We got some fireworks at the end. That's very cool cuz fireworks are also in the new update. That seems to be like an ender thing. This is like an iron golem, which I love. This is a cool one. This is how you do the fading uh thing. So, I mean, it it's faded. Doesn't look great. Of course, these are all reversible. So, we can do this triangle on the bottom if we wanted to. And he's made another cool banner. Check it out. Oh, I love this. That's so cool. This is supposed to be like the greenery, hills and stuff.
