every week we're seeing a new organization hit the headlines for being breached and as a result cyber security is one of the top priorities for boards around the country but to do security effectively it's really important that organizations have access to Skilled cyber Security Professionals and there's a massive shortage of those in the UK U.S and other countries around the world the Sands at Cyber Academy is a new program designed to condense the entrance of students into this important profession we take our traditional best-selling courses such as the Sans incident response and ethical hacking Security Essentials which teaches people cyber security fundamentals how policy Frameworks work and the language they need to describe the various problems that they'll face on top of that we build whole new practical Hands-On modules which enable our students to get familiar with Enterprise infrastructure like virtualization mail servers web servers and so on we then run team simulations showing them what an incident looks like teaching them how to work with each other effectively we build in presentations to management on incidents as well as some good old-fashioned fun like hacking into a drone to develop problem-solving skills put simply the Sans cyber Academy is one of the best mechanisms out there to accelerate students development into this all-important profession
