For more INBOUND content, please visit content.inbound.com Filmmakers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos are best known as the creative duo behind the hit Netflix series Making a Murderer. They recently received the James Joyce Award for Human Endeavour from the Literary and Historical Society at University College Dublin, and the series has been nominated for the 2016 BAFTA Television Radio Times Audience Award. In addition to appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Daily Show, Laura and Moira have made numerous appearances on news, radio, and television shows around the world speaking about their work. They have also been featured in publications including Variety and The New York Times. Laura and Moira met in 2003 as graduate film students in New York City. Two years later they started production on Making a Murderer, and in 2006 they formed the independent production company Synthesis Films LLC. Laura and Moira are interviewed by NPR's Jane Clayson. Jane Clayson is the primary guest host of NPR & WBUR's On Point. Before moving to Boston to raise her family, Jane co-anchored "The Early Show on CBS "with Bryant Gumbel and was a correspondent for the CBS News investigative series, "Eye on America" and the magazine program, "48 Hours". She has covered national and international stories for both CBS News and ABC News.
