TWed Talk: Sabbir Rashid on "A Semantic Data Dictionary Modelling Methods Tutorial"

The Semantic Data Dictionary is a specification formalizing the assignment of a semantic representation of data. This is achieved by annotating dataset variables and their values using concepts from best practice vocabularies and ontologies. As this approach is actively being employed by several institutions, there is a need for quality documentation, examples, tutorials and modelling guidelines. A presentation of these resources is the focus of this talk. As we provide a methodology to aid in scientific workflows, this work advances the state of the art by easing semantic annotation and making it more accessible.
