As business owners, it can feel super easy to feel like we're drowning in information. We consume hours of podcasts. You save countless articles, take tons of notes, but when you actually need that information, you want to come back to it. You have no idea where that information is. It seems like it's lost in the digital void. But what's even more frustrating is that, and I used to be this way, too, that the solution is better organization or another notetaking system. But the real problem isn't how you organize the information. It's that your knowledge isn't actually working for you. It's just sitting there passive and it's disconnected. My name is Rick Malreddy and I've tested dozens of productivity and knowledge management tools and I've helped thousands of entrepreneurs optimize their online businesses with AI. And today I'm going to show you an AI tool that will help you take all that knowledge that you're curating, make it work for you, and make you 10 times smarter. The tool is called Recall, and I'm about to share with you three ways that Recall's new chat with knowledgebased feature transforms how you interact with everything that you've learned, turning your scattered information that you collect from all over the internet into an AI powered personal encyclopedia. Special thank you to Recall for sponsoring today's video. Now, by the end of this video, you'll know exactly how to build a knowledge system that actually thinks with you, connects ideas that you never would have found yourself, and can give you instant access to insights from everything that you've consumed. So, here's what I discovered after months of testing. Traditional knowledge management tools are digital graveyards, right? You save content, you might organize it beautifully, spend hours categorizing everything, and then what? when you actually need that information, you either can't find it or you forget that it even exists. And so many of these tools have a ton of limitations, right? Notebook LM, for example, limits you to 50 sources per notebook. Obsidian requires manual linking and constant maintenance. Notion becomes a maze of nested pages really quickly. In a tool like chatbt, you're just chatting with the entire internet essentially, not your carefully curated knowledge. We don't need better storage. We need better retrieval and connection with the information that we are gathering throughout our daily workflows. This is where recall completely flips the script. Instead of passive storage, recall creates an active intelligent knowledge base that learns and connects everything that you feed it. Let me show you how all this comes together with Recall. First, Recall's browser extension makes it super super easy to capture uh any kind of content that you are consuming. So, let's just say I'm watching this productivity video by Jeff Sue and I can go up to the recall extension here. Click on it. It will give me the transcript. I can choose between concise summary down here or detailed summary. And here's what's different. It's not just summarizing the video. It's connecting this type of video on productivity to everything else that I've saved inside of recall. Now, another thing I could do with this is I could, if I wanted to, chat directly with the video while I'm watching it. So, I want to type in here, what are the three main techniques mentioned in the video? So, I can ask for that and boom, instant answer in its source directly from the video. And I can also go specifically to a timestamp in the video that it's given me. Now, here's where it gets really powerful. I can save this to my knowledge base in recall and it categorizes it under productivity. You can see here it's automatically tagged it under productivity and it's now creating connections within recall to all of my previous content on time management, productivity, workflow optimization, habits, etc. And now recall has this new AI feature called chat with knowledge base over in the lefth hand column here. This means I can h now have conversations across all of my saved content that I've put into recall. It is super super cool. So let's say I want to tap into all the productivity content that I've saved into my recall and I want it to create a personalized morning routine for me. So, I can just type in the field here based on all my productivity content I've saved, create a personalized morning routine for me. And then I've given it some additional parameters here. Consider that in addition to running my business, I'm also a parent and I have school drop off. And in a matter of seconds, it's created a personalized morning routine for me with references to whatever the recommendation is that's being made. It has a reference to where that's discussed in my piece of content that I've saved inside of recall. So right here, for example, let's take a look at uh this one. So I can click this timestamp link here, and it will take me directly to that part of the video that I saved in recall here. So this right here is a Thiago Forte video, seven to-do list hacks that actually work. No more overwhelm. So it takes me directly to that spot in the video that is being referenced back here in the AI output. Super cool. And the other thing I can do here is I can click on the at@ symbol and pull up specific pieces of content if I wanted to talk to that uh specific piece of content in this chat. But let's try another question here. Let's just say that I want to ask what are the common themes across all of my productivity content? And let's see what it comes up with. Again, it's reading all the different forms of content that I have in here. And here we go. It's given me all the common themes across all the productivity content that I've saved in recall simplicity and focus intential planning and time blocking. And again, it has the linked references to that specific piece of content that I've saved whether it was an article, whether it was a podcast, whether it was a YouTube video. So, for example, here, prepare the night before to set clear prior priorities and reduce morning decision fatigue. I can mouse over that and then I can go directly to that. I think this was an article that I'd saved. So, it takes me right there. And again, just like previously, I can also click on the timestamp link and it'll take me directly to that specific part of the YouTube video if it was a YouTube video that I had saved. Super cool. Now, another cool use case of the chat with your knowledgebased feature here is let's just say that you're journaling or you're journaling somewhere else and you're putting your journal entries into recall. And so I can ask what are my what are the common themes across all of my journal entries and it will give me the common themes across all of my journal entries. This is exactly what I've been searching for. This is a way to have conversations with my past self to discover patterns for example that I never would have seen manually. AI in this chat with knowledgebased feature is helping me do that inside a recall. And you can store a ton of different types of content here in recall. So let's just say that if I go to create card here, you can see YouTube videos, shorts, Apple and Spotify podcasts, websites, articles, blogs, PDF, Vimeo videos, uh Google Docs, Google Slides, Tik Tok videos, all kinds of different pieces of content you can capture here inside of recall. So let's just say I want to capture this podcast by Pat Flynn on the SPI podcast about managing energy and expectations. So again adding to my productivity uh tag inside of recall. This is a Spotify podcast. So I can come up here, click on the recall uh extension and it will summarize the podcast for me. Recall just transcribed the entire podcast. So now I have detailed summary and notes of the podcast that I can also ask questions to just like we did with the YouTube video before. Or let's just say that there's this article uh how generative AI can boost highly skilled workers productivity. Again, same thing. I can click the recall extension. It's going to give me a detailed summary or a concise summary. And also notice again that it automatically tagged it as productivity. Let's just say I want this article by Justin Welch about productivity and time management for solopreneurs. I come up here, I click the recall, one click, boom, summary in a matter of like fraction of a second. And again, it's automatically tagged it uh with productivity. Or if I want to grab this Tik Tok video about neuroscience and uh productivity, again, same thing. I can go to Tik Tok and uh grab this. I can also do this, by the way, on mobile, which I'll show you here in just a second. And by the way, if you're coming from another system, you can totally bulk import thousands of bookmarks, pocket saves, or even your markdown files from tools like Obsidian and Notion. And speaking of the mobile app, and since I listen to a ton of podcasts, Recall makes it super super easy to capture podcasts when I'm on the go. So, if I'm working out or out for a walk or what have you and I'm listening to, you know, a podcast on Apple podcast, for example, I can just share that podcast directly to recall, it'll instantly summarize it automatically categorize it. So, now I have it added into recall and again that becomes part of knowledge base that I can chat with with the chat with knowledgebased feature. Now, there are two other features that I also love. First, recall has this feature called augmented browsing, which you can turn on in your browser extension settings. And so, as you browse the web, recall shows you connections to content that you've already saved. This is like having a research assistant that remembers everything that you've ever read. So, check this out. So, let's just say I have this video here, science and health benefits of deliberate heat exposure. I want to add this to recall. Okay, it's given me my summary, automatically categorized it. And now, let's just say that I'm doing research on sleep and I come across this BBC article, how the brain's little blue dot regulates your sleep. And as I'm scrolling down and reading through and neuroepinephrine, that's a hard one to say, neuroepinephrine is highlighted here. So again, this is the augmented browsing by recall in action. So I can mouse over it and the reason that it comes up is because it's talked about in other pieces of content that I have saved inside a recall. So again, it's making the connection for this specific term to other pieces of content that I've already saved and consumed. And as you can see here, not only is it defined, but it's also talked about in that video that I just saved to recall. Pretty cool. And this other feature I really love is recalls knowledge graph visualization because I'm a very visual person. Your content again isn't just stored, it's mapped. And so let's just say I want to go back to my productivity category here. And so I can scroll in on this. You can see that all of the pieces of content that I've saved around productivity and have been categorized as productivity have all been visually mapped here. You can literally see how your ideas connect and discover relationships that you never knew existed. So you can click into each one of these things here and see the piece of content or a link out or piece of information that is contained in that piece of content. So you can really see the whole thing visually, which I love. Using recall has helped me save four huge problems in my day-to-day life and day-to-day business, especially in my business because I consume so much content. And the first thing is time. No more digging through folders trying to find things. I go into recall. I ask a question, get instant answers from my own content that I've curated. The second thing is insight. Our brains have limits, right? Recall does not have that kind of limit. It can cross reference thousands of sources to find patterns that you would never spot manually. The third thing is peace of mind. Knowledge is always accessible. I know exactly where it is. It's always searchable and it's never lost because it's right here within recall. And then the fourth thing is trust. And this is a huge thing, right? Unlike chatbt or perplexity, you're chatting with content that you chose that you captured yourself and you vetted. No hallucinations, no unreliable sources because you yourself are capturing the content in recall. I've been using recall a long time now and I can honestly say that it changes my day-to-day workflow. so much for the better. It just removes the mental clutter that I tend to have because I know exactly where my content's going to be and now that I can use the chat with knowledgebased feature, game changer for the tool. I also love that the team is actively iterating on the product and has an active discord channel and a feature request system which they are always listening to and integrating and listening to their users. So, I want to invite you to check out Recall. Go to getrecall.ai now and use the promo code recall Rick and you'll get 25% off of Recall. I've also linked to it in the description below the video here. Thanks so much for watching today. I appreciate it and we'll see you in the next
