Teacher Toolkit: Follow Through

Here is your Monday minute. A quick quote and a simple challenge to take with you as you go about your week. So, here is your quote for this week. It isn't what we say that defines us, but what we do. And our challenge this week based on this quote will be all about follow through. See, it's very easy to say we're going to do something or accomplish a task or complete things on our checklists, but it's a very different thing to actually follow through and complete what we said we would do. So, your challenge this week is to complete the following steps to help you follow through on what you say. Step one, think of one thing you said you would do or you would complete. whether you told someone else you do something for them or it's something that's on your personal checklist of tasks. Step two, make it a priority and set aside time in your schedule this week to get it done. Step three, repeat this process with anything else you may have on your words without action checklist. Remember that often times it isn't what we say that defines us, but what we do. And our reputation, our integrity, and our legacy may begin to falter the more we offer empty words without action.
