I have over 100 key on YouTube and I'm telling you watching SQL tutorials is probably the reason you are failing SQL interviews. Mistake number one, you learn SQL as syntax such as select, join, group by. But interviews don't test syntax. They test whether you can solve a business problem using SQL. If I ask you why you are using a left join instead of an inner join, can you explain the reasoning? Mistake number two is that you practice isolate questions. Interviews gives messy scenarios like missing data, duplicate records, null values, performance issues. Real SQL isn't a list of questions, rather it's a system. And the biggest mistake you never explain your thought process. You arrive at a correct answer, but interviewers are evaluating how you think, not just what you type. This is exactly what I focus on inside my SQL training batch, not just teaching commands. I teach how to think through SQL problems the way interviewers expect. Check out the pin comment for the batch detail. The next batch is starts 1st July. Seats are limited because I work closely with every student.
