This course is designed to be an introduction to current government employees as well as individuals aspiring to public service who seek to build a foundational understanding of how artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance mission effectiveness. The course introduces the core concepts of AI and human-machine teaming, including key technologies such as large language models (LLMs), and examines the ethical, legal, and policy considerations that guide responsible AI use in government contexts.
