[Music] Eldar is a venture-backed startup we match cares with families who are looking for long-term care for their loved ones elder is very committed to creating a workplace that's and brings the best out of his people for how am I going we were using Google sheets which was a good for the thing is a disaster didn't really work the feedback was not very actionable it was very clear that many especially junior people didn't not know how to submit feedback and love to put in their reviews we decided we needed to have some sort of more formal system or two so how am I going just made it very easy and really well-organized questions and it just make everything really efficient having a regular appraisal process has really helped us create a culture of looking positive towards feedback since receiving feedback my whole focus changed completely I actually reached out a couple of people who became my mentors and now helping me to develop all the feedback that was submitted was very constructive and I think seeing that for the team themselves was incredibly helpful and it just made it overall like a very positive experience like feedback was something that helped them that was not something to be afraid of that even constructive feedback could be worded in a positive helpful way and I think that's really created a culture of giving feedback and of being more open and honest with each other [Music]
