How to Use Remote Management on Fleet Command
Key Takeaways
Demonstrates remote management on Fleet Command for troubleshooting and configuring edge AI deployments
Full Transcript
nvidia fleet command comes with remote management capabilities that provide secure access to systems and applications allowing users to easily troubleshoot issues and configure their deployments at their edge sites these features eliminate the need for physical access or vpn connections to your edge sites by providing all the access you need through one central interface let's take a step-by-step look at how to use these capabilities to use remote console you first need to enable it in fleet command settings next you select the location and system you want to access open the drop down menu for that system and select start remote console once the remote console session has started a new browser tab will open and connect you to the system from here you can view system information or data navigate directories and view logs using the standard rc user account you can also switch to an admin user to gain elevated privileges and pseudo access this is needed to view or modify your cluster and its deployments using standard kubernetes cli commands you can then end your remote console session or it will timeout after the specified amount of time has passed note that once you've accessed the system with elevated privileges a warning banner will be displayed in the system's location indicating that it was accessed and recommending re-imaging the system now let's take a look at remote application access with remote application access users can access applications running on each edge system from the same fleet command interface to access your application services go to your application deployment select the drop down menu for the location you want to access then select view details you will then see a list of application services that are available for your deployment click the service you want to access and remote application access will open a new browser tab to the root index for that service from here you can log into your application and view or configure it as needed that's all there is to remote application access remote management on fleet command is easy and secure streamlining the remote management configuration and troubleshooting of both systems and applications at the edge
