How to Find Keywords That Drive Traffic to Your Competitors [OSEO-13]

A smart way to do keyword research is to find keywords that your competitors rank for and use them to get more organic traffic. The process is simple. Spy on your competitors, find the keywords where they rank high in Google, and use this data to get traffic to your website. In this video, Tim Soulo shows you how to analyze your competitors SEO traffic and build your own content marketing strategy on what’s working for them. Using Ahrefs’ Organic Keywords Report (Positions Explorer), you can see most of the keywords that your competitors rank for in Google. Note: This tool is now a part of Site Explorer tool (https://ahrefs.com/site-explorer). To get started, all you need to do is to submit your competitor's website for analysis and click 'Search'. Within a few seconds, the tool will find and show you the keywords your competitor’s site is ranking for from virtually any country in the world. By default, the results in 'Organic Keywords' report are ordered by the 'Traffic' column, which gives an estimate of how much traffic a website is getting from Google. But you can click on any of the columns and re-order the list by the metric that is most interesting to you. By reverse engineering your competitors’ organic rankings, you can find a ton of content opportunities to add to your blog.
