how do you use GitHub co-pilot ooh AI actually I use GitHub co-pilot daily um I'm a big fan of GitHub co-pilot and the way I use GitHub co-pilot is that I type in some code and prompts and often times for instance I'm looking for documentation for it to help me with documentation things like that or write tests or even write original code and as often as not frankly what it produces is a hallucination it's what the code might be if the massive Corpus of data that lives behind it spits out something and then it's my job as a developer to realize that makes no sense and to delete it and to write what I would normally have written or to take what it gave me as a suggestion and then find ways to work with its suggestion cuz it's all often as not honestly it produces code that's you know quite reasonable sometimes and sometimes and this is when it gets really wonderful and frankly part of the reason why I keep it on every once in a while it produces code that is frankly better than what I originally was started with because somewhere deep in the bowels of the machine learning algorithms that are spitting up these results there was a gem and that gem showed up on my screen and it was as good or better than anything I could do at the end of the day it's a tool it's an amazing tool but our job as professional is to know how to use this tool to make our code better than it would have been otherwise
