The most useful thing that I've done with AI as an educator [music] is to reflect on my teaching practices. I accomplish that by using two custom GPT protocols. The first one actually analyzes my lesson plans, my antiquated lesson plans to search for opportunities where I can better align my teaching practices with science literacy improvement. [music] The second protocol is designed to analyze science discovery narratives and generate questions that are also better aligned to the science literacy framework. [music] And it trains students to think more like scientist and [music] to think beyond the science and look at science from multiple perspectives whether it's political, economic, or social. This aspect of science literacy integration is so important to my classroom because when students enroll in chemistry, they don't expect to do well. But when they're prompted to think about science from different perspectives, they feel empowered to communicate science in ways that are very non-traditional to their previous experiences. [music]
