I literally built a clay alternative that costs less than $150 a month with these three apps that you see on the screen. So, we have Firecrawl for lead scraping, we have DataBar for enrichment, and we have Instantly for email outreach. So, let me show you the full setup. We combine all of these tools with Claude Code to achieve exactly what we want right here. So, the first thing that we want is obviously you want to log in into uh Firecrawl and you want to open the document in the description. So, this is the document. We have all the setup things right here, prompts and everything. And what you want to do is first, you want to copy this, okay? Uh so, this right here, you just want to copy it and we want to go to our desktop. So, on our desktop, we want to create a new folder, which is going to be called Clay Alternative, okay? And we simply want to go into that folder and we want to go and if you're on Windows, you can just open the the you know, text editor. Um but here, I'll just go to TextEdit. And I want to go and I want to just add the new document. So, essentially, what we're doing here is we are adding this document here and we're going to be adding the uh API key here for DataBar, Instantly API key, and Instantly Campaign ID. And then, we're also going to be adding the Firecrawl MCP. So, in this case, you want to go to Firecrawl and when you log in into Firecrawl, if it's first time logging in, you will see the Firecrawl skill. So, you want to just copy this because this will give your AI coding agent reliable access to the Firecrawl, okay? So, you want to make sure you copy this in there, okay? So, essentially, what we're creating here is a document that is called ENV document. It's essentially instructions to Claude code to understand what we're trying to connect first, okay? Because first, we want to connect all these things. Okay, once you connect all these things right here, obviously for data bar, you will need to go to um right here, you should go to your account and then in your account, go to account settings uh and then here, go to the workspace and this is your API key right here. Obviously, I will blur my API key, but make sure to not share it with anyone. You copy that and then you go to the text edit and then just go here and instead of your key, just paste the key here. Okay, it should be pasted. Okay? So, once you paste all the keys, just make sure to save this as an ENV file, {dot} ENV file. So, just, you know, when you're saving, make sure it's an ENV file. For Instantly, you will also need an API key, so you want to go to your Instantly and what you want to do is you want to go here to your settings and then you want to go to integrations and then here, you want to go to API keys and this is where you're going to get the Instantly API key. Now, for the uh obviously Firecrawl, we've connected the Firecrawl, we've connected the data bar and we've connected the Instantly, but we still want to go to our campaign section here and you want to create a new campaign. Now, if you're already using Instantly, you know how to do this, but if you're not using it, it's very simple. You just simply click on your uh add new and also, you can go and Instantly co-pilot can create campaign for you based on what you want to do and who you want to target. So, this is really important, but what you want to do is you want to go to campaigns, click on the campaign and this is the ID, the campaign ID. So, you want to copy this and you want to paste it right here in your campaign ID, okay? So, once you have all of this, again, just update the ENV file and we are good to go to Cloud Code. So, also one thing I haven't mentioned, this needs to be in the Clay Alternative file. So, right here because we're going to be using the Clay Alternative file for Cloud Code, okay? So, now what we want to do is we obviously, you know, I want to go in Cloud Code and we want to go here and we want to say um we have or I have a file on desktop called Clay Alternative. I want you to use the ENV file in there to connect all the uh softwares to Cloud Code. Softwares are Instantly, Data Bar and Firecrawl. You don't need to to specifically say this, but uh I just said it, so we'll just go in here and as you can see it will create a work tree here. Essentially, what it's doing is it will ask us to uh access the Clay Alternative folder. Once it um actually goes in, as you can see, we just need to allow these and just make sure you all you allow everything. As you can see, it's asking me to allow pretty much all the all the different steps. So, make sure just to allow everything and then we'll go to the next step. Okay, as you can see, it went in, it created everything and here we have Firecrawl, we have MCP server, we have Data Bar, we also have MCP server for that. And then we have Instantly, which we have environment uh variables for this one. Now, what you want to do is you want to just restart the Cloud and then go back into the Cloud and make sure to go into that chat right here. Now, as you can see, we restarted the Cloud and now I actually want to go to my browser here, and in here, as you can see, we have the first step. Use Firecrawl to scrape the first three pages of Yelp results for HVAC companies in Dallas. Extract business name, phone number, website URL, and rating for each. So, I'll just copy this, and I'll paste this in Claude, but what I'm going to do is I'm just going to say use Firecrawl to scrape um right here, I'm going to say 10 leads for Yelp results for HVAC companies because I don't want this video to be long. Uh you can go and you can scrape multiple different pages. It's up to you, okay? So, let's just send it here. As you can see, we got the leads right here. So, if we go to leads raw CSV, which is on our desktop, this is what we got, right? Obviously, it's just 10 leads, but for you, you can do more. Uh and obviously, this does take time, so you will need to leave your computer to just go through these leads, okay? Now, once we have these leads, what we want to do is now we want to take the leads uh and for each row that has a website URL, we want to call the DataBar Enrichment API to find the owner's email address and first name. So, obviously, we can go here, and we can just copy this prompt, and we can simply go to Claude, and yeah, we want to just paste it in, but we want to make sure that this right here is actual file name leads um and then underscore raw CSV. Leads underscore raw CSV, okay, that's good. Uh and then yeah, we can just simply go in there and uh hit enter. By the way, if you have any problems along the way, problems can happen. Uh you can just make sure to allow these all steps because, you know, Claude code will find a way to use uh Firecrawl or whatever problem you might have. Um but if you have any like specific problems, you can comment below and we'll be able to help you out. So, yeah. So, let's allow all of these and let's wait for DataBar to do its own thing. Now, once we enrich the leads, you want to go and push all the leads from the leads enriched CSV to the Instantly campaign using the Instantly API key, okay? And then it will map the fields email, first name, business name, company name, everything right here. And it will personalize everything. So, let's do that as a next step right here. And as you can see, we got all the leads pushed. So, Claude Code actually pushed all the leads right here. So, again, while you're doing this, make sure to just leave your computer on and make sure to go in here. And as you can see, you can bypass all the permissions if you enable Claude Code settings to basically go and accept themselves like the steps. But, yeah, essentially, this is it, right? We got all all of them right here. And we can obviously go and we can start a campaign in Instantly, right? We can go to sequences. We can, you know, change the the stuff here, you know, the schedule, the options, and everything. And that's pretty much it. Now, in terms of this, I will recommend you to have You can have a free Fire Crawl account. You can have a paid DataBar or you need a paid DataBar account. And then obviously, you will need to pay for Instantly. But, essentially again, it still is less than what you would pay for you know, Clay. So, in this case, this is a really good stack. Now, if you have any questions around this, comment below. And if you want videos just like this, then visit my channel and we'll see you in the next video.
