Why don't LLMs track time in their conversations?

Question for everyone: Why do you think LLMs like Claude don't use timestamp data within conversations to build temporal awareness? Like, it seems straightforward to track how long you've been talking, notice when you're looping on the same idea for hours, and suggest pivoting. Or acknowledge that conversation fatigue might be setting in. From a UX perspective, I'd expect this would make the tool way more engaging Is there a technical limitation
